Gravity Generator

This first-year engineering project was completed with three other engineering students. The concept was to harness gravitational energy by using DC motors to collect current as a mass is slowly lowered. This system used a unique gear train where energy could be collected when a mass was placed from one of two different hooks so rewinding the system was unnecessary. The gear system was 3D printed, and the backplate was laser-cut.
