Star Projector

This project was inspired by the websites that sell custom posters with star arrangements that match a user input time and place. I made this as a gift to a friend where the star arrangement was the same as where we were on a special day, with the heart in this arrangement indicating North. A phone slots nicely into the rectangular base, where either a white screen or a flashlight can be used as the light source. The filter plate was designed to also be placed on top of a candle.  All modeling was done in SOLIDWORKS, and the parts were made using PLA on a Prusa Mini.
